User Data Deletion Instructions - COC_TOMY App
This page explains how to request deletion of your data from the COC_TOMY Social Media Integration App.
IMPORTANT: Deleting your data will remove all information we have stored about your account. This action cannot be undone.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove your Facebook Page access tokens, your Instagram Business account access tokens, stored analytics and insights data, app configuration and preferences, any cached content or media, and all personally identifiable information.
Method 1: Revoke App Access (Automatic - Recommended)
The easiest way to delete your data:
1. Go to your Facebook Settings
2. Click on Security and Login
3. Scroll to Business Integrations
4. Find "COC_TOMY" in the list
5. Click Remove
6. Confirm the removal
Automatic Processing: When you revoke access, Facebook automatically sends us a deletion request. We process these requests within 48 hours and permanently delete all your data.
Method 2: Manual Request
You can also contact us directly to request data deletion. Include your Facebook Page name or ID, your Instagram username if applicable, and email address associated with your account. We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.
Verification of Deletion
After your data has been deleted, we will send you a confirmation. The deletion includes removal from our active databases, removal from backup systems within 90 days, deletion of all access tokens, and revocation of all API permissions.
Data We Cannot Delete
Please note that we cannot delete content you posted to Facebook/Instagram (you must delete this directly on those platforms), data stored by Facebook/Instagram on their servers, information required to be retained by law, or anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you.
Timeline
Automatic deletion (Method 1): Processed within 48 hours
Manual request (Method 2): Processed within 30 days
Backup removal: Within 90 days of deletion
After Deletion
Once your data is deleted, you will no longer be able to use the COC_TOMY app with your previous account. All scheduled posts and automation will stop. You can re-authorize the app at any time to start fresh. Historical analytics data will not be recoverable.
