I have a prescription. How are the glasses made?
Send us a photo of your prescription. The lens is cut to your frame’s shape, with its centre right in front of your pupil.

A lot of people change their glasses and still get headaches. Sometimes the power is right and the problem is that the lens centre is not in front of the eye.
What is on your prescription
These are the fields you will find. If anything is unclear, we ask you before we start.
- SPH
- The power: minus for short sight, plus for long sight
- CYL
- Astigmatism, if you have it
- AXIS
- The astigmatism’s direction, 0 to 180
- ADD
- A reading addition, if written
- PD
- The distance between the pupils, in mm
The centre in front of the eye
Every lens has a centre, and it has to sit in front of your pupil. That is why the distance between your eyes (PD) matters as much as the power.
- Take a photo of your prescription and send it on WhatsApp, or type it on the frame’s page.
- If the PD is not written on it, tell us.
- The lens is cut to the frame’s shape and fitted in it.
- Your glasses are checked before you get them.

The power can be right and the glasses still give you a headache if the lens centre is not in front of your eye.

- Which lens works, and how much is it?
- Can I try the frame first?
- I have a frame. Can you fit lenses to it?
